The most scenic hike of the summer..Sages Ravine a magical place on the Mass/CT border! We started on Mount Washington Rd taking the Northwest Trail Road passing the AMC Northwest Camp to the Appalachian Trail heading nobo dropping into the ravine which seemed like miles of rocky ups and downs and so many waterfalls viewing them from all directions.  We continued up and around Mount Plantain starting to climb the Race Ridge to the mystical Bear Rock Falls returning the upper trail high above the gorge and down thru the Sages Ravine campsite.  Six miles with 700 feet of elevation…absolutely stunning!
