Goldmine Falls in Chester, this long abandoned trail straight up the mountainside was built by the CCC during the great depression. The lower Falls are closest to Route 20 and attract photographers from all over New Englland.  The original CCC Trail continues to connect with the Mica Mine Trail at the summit where Goldmine Brook is a pleasant, flat brook with quartz boulders originating in Blandford. Our favorite falls at Chester Blandford State Forest!
