Mount Gobble in Becket, a lesser known mountain not to be confused with it’s neighbor Gobble Mountain. A very large and remote space with some old growth hardwood, where we found only two colonial inhabitants who were brave enough to live so far off the beaten path, no trails just logging roads and great views of Gobble Mountain and it’s beacon tower. At the summit of the mountain we found a clearing that had a wind turbine test tower here, for a future wind turbine that was planned.
