View Larger Image Railroad Workers Housing at the Keystone Arch Bridges Trail The Railroad workers housing. Russ and I came across this just this past summer, sent the photos along to Dave Pierce to confirm. Just this afternoon, Tom Hoffman sent along some Lidar photos of this same area….looks like two more sets of housing buildings may have once been here in addition to the one pair we found. We also came across what looked to be a quarry here or a building, a perfectly large square indentation in the earth along the river. We are currently still researching this great find once again, the Hilltowns prove to be an outdoor museum of history! An exceptional day at the Historic Keystone Arch Bridges Trail Group Hike in Chester, narrated by Mr. Dave Pierce of the Chester Railway Museum! Thank you to ALL who came out today to discover the natural beauty and history in the Hilltowns!
