Flash hike on a Sunday at the Becket Quarry on the woods trails. We really like these trails before the trees leaf out! Great views that give you the real perspective of the high elevation here and they are well blazed with maps at almost every intersection. We hiked a 4 mile loop going in on the main trail from the parking lot then took our first left onto the Founder’s Trail, left to Circle of Stone…full of glacial boulders! Then a short hop on Finn trail to the terrace, on to Hemlock trail to see the giant Hemlock and looped back onto Founder’s. Luckily, we chose a day where the deep snow froze on top. Four hours of hiking, at least another 3 if we continued on the rest of the trails but we were loosing light fast. ALOT of hiking here and that’s without hiking the main quarry trails!
