A crisp 20 degree morning walk in to Moose Meadow Brook and it’s glorious waterfall. Walking in from Westfield on Reservoir Road the trail is actually the water works road to the now drained lower Westfield Tekoa Reservoir. Along the way are giant old growth trees and the Westfield Montgomery Boundary Post. Come to the bridge on the top of the falls and walk down the short footpath to take a closer look at the saw mill remains. This area is known as The Grace Robson Conservation Area. Make it a longer hike by parking at the end of Pitcher Street in Montgomery, there’s another boundary post there as well! Remember to always wear as much neon orange, pink, green or yellow as possible from now until summer and your dogs too!
