LEONARD ALEXANDER was the last person to change the teeth on the Chester Granite and Polishing Works saw blade, he paid us a visit at this year’s Chester on Track.  Now in his 90’s he is one of the original folks connected to the Granite Industry in the Hilltowns.  Leonard’s father Gilbert Alexander, was a boilermaker at the Chester Roundhouse. #hilltownhistorymakers
