Lots of rain raised the Westfield River in Woronoco enough for the rare opportunity to paddle this usually super shallow section! At 5.5 feet on Sunday ten paddlers including first timers cruised down river, under the turnpike, thru rapids, avoiding rocks and seeing the beauty of our Hilltowns from the river!
