We asked Allen Williams to install the Christy Butler-Memorial at the Granite Saw, making it a monumental day in May where for the first time in 80 years granite was worked here again.  Like Allen’s father, Lester following in the family tradition of granite handcrafting.  Allen worked here as a boy, just seven years old.  Allens quarry on Algerie Road, Chester Granite Co. Is just one of two last operating original granite stone mills in the state. Thank you for this great honor Allen!
