Another quarry found in Blandford. The Chester Road layout was discovered to be changed when looking for this one, most likely the present day road destroyed any remnants of this operation. The Bartholomew soapstone deposit is shown in the Atlas of Hampden County by F W. Beers dated 1870. Nothing is known of the history of the quarry operations. Thanks to Tom Hoffman for the photos. This one has been a puzzle for a long time!
