Richard Falley was most enterprising and always had several irons in the fire in the way of business. He established a store in a district known as Falley’s cross-roads, located in Huntington. He assisted in the incorporation of the Town of Montgomery where he was selectman in 1784. Falley lived in the old cellar hole at Grace Robson Sanctuary at the foot of Tekoa Mountain, later it was purchased by an artist named Lavallee and the Attorney Robson. It later burned to the ground.
