One of the many sawmills in Blandford, not sure if we will ever find them all but this one was hardly distinguishable unless you look at the 1858 map first. Here on the corner of Blandford Road and 2nd Division Road was one of Nye’s sawmills on Gibbs Brook. This section of Blandford known as the second division has many old homesteads, surprisingly because this part was dark and mysterious heading down the valley below what we know as the old Blandford Ski.
