Hiking history on old Haight Road in North East Blandford. This entire community was taken by eminent domain for two major projects here. The Huckleberry Trolley Line and the building of Black Brook Reservoir for water supply to the Town of Russell. All the old roads, cart paths and cellar holes remain. Homer Crosby just a boy, was thrown from his cart on this road and died.
