Moose Meadow, part of the Tekoa Mountain area in Montgomery has been researched and known to contain several Native American ceremonial stonework sites. Pronounced tee-co Tekoa was home to the Woronoake Tribe and provided mountain peaks, brooks, lakes, wildlife for food and great hunting and of course plentiful fish in the Westfield River.
