Mahanna Cobble! Parking on Dan Fox Drive in Pittsfield at Bousquet Ski, look for the kiosk at Tube Town and the signage with blue blazes, yes you will cross the ski trails! The trail goes into the woods with switch-back turns and stone steps. There is a spectacular view and stone bench at the vista. The bench is dedicated to founding BNRC Executive Director, George Wislocki. Mahanna Cobble is part of the Yokun Ridge High Road route. The High Road is a long-term initiative of BNRC to make connections from towns to trails and you can follow it! Back in the day when we hiked this area it was local trails, now its officially blazed with signage. For more information visit

The Cobble is the northern summit of Lenox Mountain, the ridge that extends north from Olivia’s Overlook to the Bousquet Ski Area in Pittsfield. One of several cobbles which are a geologic formation of exposed bedrock existing high on a ridge, evidence of tectonic movement that shifted ancient strata. Trail here is 3.2 miles in and back, with spurs and the opportunity to continue on the High Road.
