Flash hiking the Claude M. Hill Trail at Knightville in Huntington along the East Branch of the Westfield River. This trail starts behind the ranger station where you park. This is our winter “go to” since the trail is wide and relatively flat with rolling hills following the water. This trail continues about 7 miles to Indian Hollow in Chesterfield. Its great for skiis and snowshoes too. Flash hikes are short notice hikes for experienced hikers, most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
