The Becket Center Cemetery established 1757 as the first burying ground in the township, behind the First Congregational Church. The oldest memorials of the town can be found here. Reading the inscriptions is quite fascinating, killed by a cart, accidentally shot for a deer and more interesting stories. The bell from the steeple being renovated can be viewed also. 21 Revolutionary soldiers rest here as well.
