Saturday we headed out just over the Otis line to Monterey to Bob’s Way, a lovely 2.6 mile figure eight loop thru all the trails here including Catharts Crossing to Dave’s Bench with the leafed out lookout.  Royal Pond offers great swimming for my mud loving frenchie and is the headwaters for Clam River, too bad that boat doesn’t still run!! Bob’s boat graveyard sits near an old huge cellar hole on a road discontinued long ago.
