OVER 3,000 people came to Chester Factory Village Saturday for Chester On Track 2026 Saturday for a day of history, kids activities, a parade and of course the Chester Granite and Polishing Works and  Chester Railway Station.  The Hilltown Hikers are PROUD to have been part of this tradition every May for about 16 years now…and for the last 2 years offering our historical property as an open house to all with our permanent location across from the depot.  We LOVE narrating the history of the stone cutting industry in Chester for special events like this! This year we had many relics found here on display, a story walk, a scavenger hunt and stone monument rubbing for the kids, raffles including a handmade nature quilt, a wooden bowl made from granite saw wood, and our fundraiser to RAISE THE POLE BARN which brought in just under $1,000 dollars in one day!
