Steve Cormier presented his book “Sacrificial Land” at the Hamilton Library in Chester telling the story of the lost Chester Villages of Littleville and Dayville and also Knightville in Huntington incorporating the role of Springfield Water Works and how this dam has both prevented natural disasters and also the towns from thriving by facing land takings by eminent domain.
