Hiking Laurel Lane

#july4th2023 camp out member event at Noble View in Russell, our 2nd group camping outing of the year in the town that the Hilltown Hikers originated. We had front row seats for Spirit of Springfield and Six Flags fireworks. Owned by AMC, The Appalachian Mountain Club, Noble View offers up many hiking trails around the entire property and snowshoeing/cross country skiing in winter. The camp sites have platforms, fire rings and they supply the wood! We were lucky to share the property with only the AMC trail crew who came from across the country to work on the trails, specifically Laurel Lane with its new gravel paths from the large parking lot, wow! The cottages are available for rent for group outings and events like weddings. A big shout out to Heather Wyman, Hilltown Hikers member and AMC crew for making our camp out spectacular!
