Hiking Mount Tom on Saturday, we looped back on the Tote Road Trail which took us by the water retention pond and pump house used by the structures built at the Mt. Tom summit. Heading back on the orange blazed trail, crossing the Old Mt. Tom ski slopes (lots of memories here!) Passing one of the ski chair lifts, also saw remants of the snow making facilities. We had views to the East of Holyoke, including Whiting Reservoir and the Connecticut River of the Pioneer Valley.
