Donations are always appreciated. We are a nonprofit 501c3 Corporation. All costs incurred (this website, event expenses) are paid from donated funds. We also donate to other non-profit groups when helping with trails, supplies, fund raising, etc.
We are registered with many charity organizations and all donation types are greatly appreciated.
Our own Historic Property, The Chester Granite Saw and our Public Trail, Park Knox Acres Recreational Land was purchased and donated back to the public for use by the Director of Western Mass Hilltown Hikers. Trail maintenance work is by volunteers. Our main fundraising goal is to historically renovate our Chester Granite Saw Property.
