Soon those hearty Appalachian Trail thru hikers will be setting off an a journey to the most beautiful Massachusetts country like here at the Sheffield Plain.  Last May we provided some trail magic for our crew and other thru hikers and hiked this gorgeous section including the pastures of Egremont. Hike leader Stephanie headed up an overnite from the CT line to Sheffield on the AT traveling the most beautiful Race Ridge!
