We did some exploring of the Legacy of the CCC at Mohawk Trail State Forest with our ranger Chris  for the morning, completely excited to see the CCC truck out on display!  Much of this original camp still remains including the Administration Building which now serves as the nature center.  We were given the scavenger hunt brochure and sent off to find all the relics from the Great Depression era.  Some things are hidden like the old stairs from the campground and the original bridge abutments over the Cold River.  Of course the dogs enjoyed the entire river part!
