NEVER BEFORE SEEN photo of Chester and Becket Railroad bridge 412 still standing! At the end of the CBRR trail on Hampden Street is the washed out bridge over Walker Brook made of pink granite on one abutment and the other side is poured concrete….thanks to Stan from Ludlow sending us this never before seen rare photo! Wow!  The Chester and Becket Railroad was short lived, a five mile spur built to bring granite to Chester from the Chester and Hudson quarry in Becket.
