Part 2 we took Butler farther South where we had come across some very large boulders to be added to “Berkshire Destinations”, the adventures continues!  Sunday flash hike at Great Barrington’s Reservoir Rocks with Christy Butler where the East Mountain Fire supposedly started. We came to name these massive boulders for Butler’s latest edition of “Berkshire Destinations” and also traveled through where the fire burned the landscape.  Always known as one of the best places for bouldering and rock climbing in Western Mass, sadly burned heavily.  Imagine the fire storm the brave fire fighters faced here with the steep and rocky east side of the mountain, we thank them all! Amazing views of the Mount Race ridge, Mount Everett and Catamount Ski from here!
