Only about a month ago we were snowshoeing and skiing at the Carl Herrick Knittel Conservation Area in Blandford in a winter Wonderland taking the less used trails opposite roadside of the kiosk on Herrick Road.   The trails here offer wandering through hemlock forest with large stone ledges, a small pond and clear Falls Brook which feeds Cobble Mountain Reservoir. The large beaver pond has a trail looping it’s entirety.
