HILLTOWN HISTORY Chester’s stone house built 1976 at the end of Emery Street where Dr. Lucas’s Serpentine Factory was located and later the lower Hamilton Emery Mill. There was a dam here on the Westfield River and a foot bridge. Lucas crushed the turquoise rock to make green paint for “greenbacks” this house is wonderfully being renovated after falling into disrepair.
