Chester Railway Station, Prospect and Emery Street changed drastically in 1901 when the road was moved to create an underpass under the Boston and Albany Railroad tracks.  The old freight house (no longer standing) and station pictured here.  The survey shows there was a scale, water tower and the original spur to the Chester Granite and Polishing Works.  Many were killed hit by trains when the road went over the tracks going to and from the Granite Saw hence the change in layout.
