The floating island of Upper Goose Pond, have you seen it? “An island that has long been stationary in the middle of Goose pond in Tyringham has recently floated to the upper of the pond about half a mile from its original location. It is an accumulation of about one half acre and has trees twenty feet high and a heavy growth of smaller bushes on it.”
