Catamount State Forest and the Catamount Hills exploration with Hilltown Hiker member Chris Skelly in Colrain, just a portion of this wild and natural forest. Parking on Stacy Road.  Catamount State Forest’s  1, 125 acres was acquired in 1966 from Western Massachusetts Electric Company. An entire ghost town including the first schoolhouse to fly the American Flag is here, going back for a full day to explore!
