Paddling in Woronoco on the Westfield River, launch on Woronoco Road near the metal “temporary” bridge.  This section starts very lake like with the dam holding back water, we went West behind Strathmore Park for great views of Mount Nero coming eventually to some fast moving water.  The rock face along the Strathmore section is known to have fist size garnets.
