The dog days of summer…Sanderson Brook Falls trail at Chester Blandford State Forest fits the ticket with new dog friendly bridges and pools of cool mountain water at the Falls and Sanderson Brook to play in.  2.5 miles in and back for you and your dog.  Go past the waterfall spur to see the remains of the CCC built ski cabin and a bit farther you will find the old washed out Sanderson Brook Road bridge with its dry laid stone.
