Farnams Causeway in Cheshire paddle because it’s  HOT! We loved it!  a family-friendly park and fishing area on the southern end of the Cheshire Reservoir. This is a glorious place just off Route 8 with amazingly beautiful views of Mount Greylock.  There is a large park complete with fishing piers, on the south side, there is a boat launch into the middle basin of the reservoir, a bathhouse, benches and also is the trailhead for the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail: a walking and biking trail from North Adams to Pittsfield. Hilltown Hikers Director, Greg was a fabulous instructor today to get some first timers in a boat!
