Old Bryant Road, still partially maintained by Chesterfield is textbook colonial settlement landscape with rolling pasture, large stone walls and old growth hardwoods.  The Gilbert Bliss DCR State Forest abutting this road offers miles of wilderness hiking above the Chesterfield Gorge.
