It was a pleasure to meet so many historians, all intrigued with the Berkshire Street Railway last night at the Lee Senior Center put on by Lee Historical Society, with Gary Leveille as guest speaker. Gary educated the room of 75 attendees about the line from Caanan, Ct North to Lee. This included the remanants of the defunct trolley that once provided transportation in Western Mass. The Berkshire Trolley connection at Lee spurred to the East on the “Huckleberry Line ” to Huntington. We thank Gary and Lee Historical for including our research in this program.
