Greylock Glen was the destination for our Friday Flash Hike, as guest leader with Mike Whalen DCR Interpretive Coordinator Mount Greylock State Reservation for the DCR Nice and Easy hiking series. We led the group through the newly blazed trails getting ramped up for the grand opening of the Greylock Glenn center this June! Impressive white birch, stonewalls and a hardwood forest here which was originally farmland from the original settlers here who worked and lived on this land. Look out for the Spring schedule, I will be guest leader for a few hikes to explore more of the beautiful Mount Greylock! #dcr
