The railroad built dam at Twin Cascade in Florida, get there by taking the footpath trail to the right of the Eastern Portal on River road on a half mile trail. The construction of this dam controlled the water from flooding the tracks below (and still does), railroad ties reinforce the top and a stone wall reinforced canal was built down towards the bottom. Amazing how the construction can see be seen here and how well the dam has held up for so many decades.
