We spent this weekend at Mount Greylock State Reservation, hiking Mount Prospect, Prospect Mountain, Mount Williams, Money Brook Falls, Wilburs Clearing, the Old Summit Road, Deer Hill Trail, Rounds Rock and camped out at the Deer Hill Shelter. Learning about and exploring this highest elevation mountain in the state is truly an amazing experience. When all the hiking was done, we stopped in to the Visitors Center. This is a must see and a place to spend some time before hiking any trail on the mountain. The full scale, interactive model really gives you an intro on any hike you choose here. We learned so much about this area here and also picked up some great maps and of course gave thanks to one of the best rangers here, interpretive coordinator Mike Whalen!
