Thanks to a grant from Healthy Hampshire the Town of Chester now has its very own walking map! Andy Meyers, Dave Pierce, Jeanne LeClair, Michele Kenney and myself, Liz Massa got together to create a map of Historic downtown Chester complete with color coded maps which take walkers to places of interest……and the views! hard to miss those anywhere in Chester. Railroad history is prevalent including the Rail Station and Chester Becket railroad. See why Chester is called “The Gem of The Valley” with our rich history of mining including the granite industry. Take a look and then take a walk/hike the best routes Chester has to offer.
